Community Partnerships

At Santa Cruz Community Credit Union (SCCCU), we are passionate about contributing to lasting social and economic justice.  Increasing access to capital for under-served people has been at the heart of the SCCCU's mission and we are continually seeking avenues to develop products and services that benefit our members and our community at risk.

We have always supported microenterprise through our lending services locally. Microenterprise is generally defined as small businesses with five or fewer employees, requiring startup capital of less than $25,000. Lending to small businesses is widely viewed as a strategy of poverty alleviation and we are proud to develop innovative programs to increase lending to small businesses.

El Pájaro Community Development Corporation

El Pájaro Community Development Corporation (EPCDC) has more than 20 years’ experience serving the development of micro-businesses in our community by helping low-income minority entrepreneurs.  El Pájaro helps create economic opportunities by providing instruction, bilingual/bicultural business training, business incubation, and professional consulting and coaching. Santa Cruz Community Ventures

SCCV equips people in our community with tools to achieve lasting financial security and independence.
