Credit Union Wins Prestigious National Marketing Award
Santa Cruz Community Credit Union (SCCCU) is proud to announce that it has earned a Silver Award at the 2025 Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) Awards for its heart-centered “One World, One Wish” Financial Wellness Campaign.
Held this year in Fort Lauderdale, the MAC Awards celebrate the most creative and impactful marketing initiatives in the credit union industry nationwide. A panel of expert judges reviewed hundreds of entries, selecting winners based on strategic thinking, execution, and measurable impact.
SCCCU’s award-winning “One World, One Wish” campaign invited members to nominate themselves or someone they care about for a chance to win $1,500 to pay down debt or regain financial footing. The winning nominee used the funds to eliminate her credit card debt, giving her the fresh start she needed.
“We are incredibly honored to receive this prestigious national award,” said Katie Fairbairn, Chief Administrative Officer/Executive Vice President. “This campaign reflects what matters most to us—supporting our members through real-life challenges and giving them opportunities to move forward financially. To be recognized for work that creates meaningful impact is truly special.”
“These awards showcase the exceptional marketing strategies that credit unions are leveraging to better serve and engage their members,” said Lynne Jarman-Johnson, Chair of MAC. “We are honored to celebrate the dedication, creativity, and success of these projects and campaigns, which embody the cooperative spirit of credit unions.”
The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC), founded in 1986, supports and advances credit union marketing and communications nationwide through professional development, networking, and recognition of excellence.
